There is no Barcelona without the neighbourhoods
Urban renovation and the right to the city
Barcelona needs to reverse inequalities in the city and their effects. The Neighbourhood Plan was conceived as a series of actions promoted by Barcelona City Council and local residents, aimed at improving living conditions in the city as a whole.
The objective is to ensure that the general public's rights to well-being, services, jobs and public participation can be exercised without discrimination of any kind in all the city's neighbourhoods. Because together, we can build a more egalitarian, fair and habitable city. A model of freedom, peaceful coexistence and democracy.
