Marina Tabassum
(Dhaka, 1971)
Architect. She studied in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). She was a visiting lecturer at the University of Texas at Arlington and, more recently, at the Graduate School of Design of Harvard University. She is currently the Director of Academic Programme at the Bengal Institute for Architecture in Dhaka. In 2005, she founded the MTA practice, which received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2016 for the design of Bait Ur Rouf mosque in Dhaka.
