Nour Salameh
(Homs, 1982)
PhD in History from the Rovira i Virgili University and member of UNESCOMED – UNESCO Chair for Intercultural Dialogue in the Mediterranean. During the last six years, she has collaborated with various institutions, NGOs and other organisations in areas of conflict. She currently works in the European Institute of the Mediterranean - Gender Programme, provides technical support to the Euro-Mediterranean Women Foundation and teaches the master’s degree in Contemporary Arabic Studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Before the Syrian uprising, she was a news editor and translator at the Damascus Radio Station and also worked at the Syrian News Agency.
