José María Lassalle
(Santander, 1966)
Politician from the Partido Popular. Former lecturer at the universities of Cantabria, Carlos III Madrid, Rey Juan Carlos and CEU-Madrid, where he taught Philosophy of Law and Comparative Political Systems. His public posts have included being director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Carolina Foundation (2003-2004); Secretary of State for Culture (2011-2016) and Secretary of State for the Information Society and Digital Agenda 2016-2018). He has been the MP for Cantabria since 2004.
