Therese Jamaa

Professional with vast experience in the technology sector. Currently General Manager of GSMA and in charge of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona project. GSMA, an association which represents 800 mobile operators and more than 300 companies in the ecosystem, is known for being the organiser of the most important event in the mobile industry: the Mobile World Congress, which is held in Barcelona and receives over 100,000 visitors from around the world every year. Previously Therese Jamaa had consolidated her knowledge in the post of business development director at the telecom technology company Qualcomm. She also worked for companies such as Vodafone and Sema Group Schlumberger, after starting her career in the shipbuilding industry. She is a person with a multicultural profile and speaks eight languages.
