Humanities and Higher Education: Creating Synergies between Humanities, Science and Technology
The Global University Network for Innovation (GUNi) is organising this international congress, an initiative in response to the growing concern about the future of Humanities in society and the profound ecological, technological, scientific and cultural transformations that form big challenges in regard to the value and sense of the human experience.
Through speeches, round tables, practical cases, actions and interactive seminars, there will be an international debate on the role of Humanities and the relationships between science, technology and humanities for achieving more responsible, democratic and sustainable societies.
The Congress programme includes around 30 speakers from all over the world and a combination of master classes, workshops and presentations of experiences and cases, with the participation of Arne Jarrick, Carme Torras, Rosi Braidotti, Sarah Hunt and Federico Mayor Zaragoza, among others.
Here is the programme, details of the speakers and further information on charges and practical details, venue and social programme.
Price: €280 Students: €50 Biennial of Thought discount: 50% off for the first 15 registrations using the code BIENNALBCN on the organisation's website.
