Alexey Ivanov
Director of the HSE-Skolkovo Institute for Law and Development, responsible for its academic strategies and activities. Ivanov has guided the HSE-Skolkovo joint venture since its inception, directs the Institute’s research and progress and places the results at the forefront of Russia’s main domestic policies and legal and international policies. Between 2012 and 2016 he was the Skolkovo Foundation’s Legal Policy and Social Development Department director. Since 2008 he has taught the Antitrust in the New Economy course as part of the educational programme mandated by the Russian Federal Anti-Monopoly Service. He also researches at the Centre for Law, Economics and Society at University College London, making a particular contribution to their Social Media Unit. He is a partner and co-founder of the law firm Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners. Ivanov is also the founder of Cleantech, a Russian non-profit dedicated to the development clean technological innovation.
